Eric Swalwell Now Thinks Trump Colluded With Axios (REPORT)

(ConservativeUnit.com)- After years of falsely claiming President Donald Trump colluded with Russia – a claim disproven by an FBI investigation – California Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell now thinks that the president colluded with Axios.

It comes after the news outlet reported on Monday that Swalwell had a possibly sexual relationship with a Chinese spy named Fang Fang…or “Christine” Fang. Swalwell is angry at the report for exposing how he was compromised, and many Democrats have followed suit by expressing anger about how the information might have been obtained.

Why aren’t they mad that they were, oh I don’t know…compromised by Chinese spies?

Axios claims that investigators became alarmed by Fang’s behavior in 2015 and initiated an investigation, at which time she unexpectedly left the country. Swalwell then reportedly cut all ties with Fang, and while he is not accused of any wrongdoing, there are questions about the influence Fang had on his campaign and whether she obtained any sensitive information while serving the Chinese government.

On Tuesday, Swalwell suggested that the “timing” of the report should be investigated, implying that the president had something to do with it.

“I’ve been a critic of the president. I’ve spoken out against him. I was on both committees that worked to impeach him,” he said during an interview with Politico. “The timing feels like that should be looked at.”

What, and not whether Christine Fang might have obtained sensitive information from an elected official she was allegedly having a sexual relationship with?

“What it appears though that this person – as the story reports – was unsuccessful in whatever they were trying to do,” Swalwell says, despite there being no conclusive evidence that Fang did not obtain valuable information from himself or other California Democrats she forged relationships with.

“But if intelligence officials are trying to weaponize someone’s cooperation, they are essentially seeking to do what this person was not able to do, which is to try and discredit someone,” he added.

Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson slammed Swalwell on his show this week, exposing the Democratic congressman’s hypocrisy for falsely claiming that the president colluded with Russia to win the presidential election.

Have you noticed the pattern of Democrats accusing Republicans of things they’re guilty of themselves?
